Delete your account

You can delete your MOTAR account yourself, right here. To confirm it's you, we send a one-time code to the email address or phone number registered on your account.

Step 1 — Request a code

What happens when you delete

Your account is deactivated immediately — you can no longer sign in or be matched for rides. It is then permanently deleted after 12 months. During that period your data is retained only for safety, abuse-tracing and legal obligations, and is used for nothing else.

What we erase

When the 12-month period ends — or sooner where the law allows — we erase or irreversibly anonymize the personal data tied to your account, including:

Your name, email address and phone number
Profile photo and identity-verification documents (ID and selfie)
Location history and trip route data
In-app chat messages
Device identifiers and push-notification tokens

What we retain, and why

During the 12-month window, and afterwards only where the law requires, we keep a limited set of records — such as ride, payment and payout records — for safety, abuse-tracing, tax and other legal obligations. These are held in a de-identified form where possible and permanently deleted once the required period ends.
